Bagel breakfast! A nice change from eggs, cereals and porriage. It's a recommendation from Hanna and Sebastian. The bagels were nicely chewy and was perfect with both the Turkey Ham with mustard and Italian salami combination.

It was a nice walk under the sun. I'm enjoying the Swedish summer. I hope the weather stays this way....

Never had much time to bake in Singapore. Part of doing 'nothing' in Stockholm is baking. =) Made scones. English buns that is buttery. They're great with tea, jam and butter! Martin and my corridor mates loved them. Yay!


Even the scones were happy with themselves! Haha

Met up with Anders. We were at Melanders at Täby. They sell their catch and prepare great food with them! The fish and chips were delightful. The accompanying sauce was not the usual but one with curry....mmmm



Anders unfortunately fell ill. And I got the opportunity to drive a Manual Audi TT. Thank goodness for prior practice.

The sun is out in Stockholm. It's an average of 16 degrees. Lovely, lovely weather. We've been sitting outside, reading and chilling. It's time to hit the archipelago!




Earlier that day, I drove the manual car. As you can tell from Martin's expression, he either has went crazy from my driving/ completely horrified/absolutely madly relived and happy to be back behind the wheel!

We had dinner at Paus, last night.
Lamb was delicious. (jätte gott). So was the Veal.
The place was charming. Vintage. My favourite.
Best Swedish Food I've had during my time in Stockholm!
Met Martin's Friends' Sebastian & Hanna. Really nice and friendly.
They were great company. I absolutely had a lovely time.

The wonders of facebook!! Or else I would have never known and had the chance to talk and meet Jason Mraz.
It was definitely a chance of a life time.
He's one added bonus to my visit in Stockholm!
His album released on the 13th of May in Singapore & 14th of May in Sweden..
Days later.........17th of May, I hear him LIVE at Bengans on Drotningatan 20.
He was great. I really like this album.It's my favourite out of the rest.
Hugged him.

After Martin made Tacos, I fell in love with them instantly! I only saw Tacos at Tacobell/KFC in Singapore. But they were not too appetizing. These were great.

Avocado + Cayenne + white pepper + paparika + some other spice that is in sweddish (have to find this out)
lettuce + onions + tomatoes
cream sauce
minced beef + taco spice
shredded cheese
wraps
YUMMY!

I'm here in Stockholm. When I arrived last year I never thought I'd be coming back! My flight on Thai airways was not what I expected. No in-flight entertainment and I was left thirsty almost thoroughout the night. Well...the food was good?
Martin changed his brakes so that he can pick me up from Arlanda..... =) And I had pineapple rice waiting for me at home.......... heh
The first NCST face I met..guess who?

I really missed the pizzas in Stockholm. Clarice will testify to how yummy they are...

Our relationship revolves quite a bit around FOOD. How not to be when you're Singaporean. We love to eat and we sure love our food. Introducing...*drumroll*.. my mummy's fried egg receipe. It's really no biggie, but Martin LOVES it!
Fried Eggs + kepchup + light sauce + dark sauce..
I made some currywurst too. (Bratwurst + a little kepchup + curry powder)- adapted from something I had in Berlin!
